Cookies. Plainly written.
A small set of strictly-necessary entries. No analytics. No advertising. No tracking pixels. The detail is below.
What are cookies
"Cookies" are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. The term is also commonly used to include similar technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage, which store data in the browser in a similar way. This policy covers all such technologies used by the site.
What we use
We use only the following, all of which are classed as strictly necessary:
jbu_lang(localStorage) — stores your preferred language so the site can route you to the correct locale on return visits.jbu_consent(localStorage) — stores your response to the cookie banner so we do not show it again on every page.
We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, social-media tracking pixels, fingerprinting technologies, or session replay tools on this site.
Third-party technologies
Some third-party services we use may set their own cookies when you visit the specific pages that include them:
- Cal.com — the
/book-demo/page embeds the Cal.com booking interface. Cal.com may set cookies required for their scheduling widget. See cal.com/privacy. - Formspree — the
/waitlist/form posts to Formspree. Formspree may set cookies to support anti-spam processing. See formspree.io. - Noto fonts — for Arabic and Simplified Chinese pages we load Noto Sans Arabic and Noto Sans SC from a font CDN because system fonts do not shape these scripts reliably. The font request may log your IP; no cookies are set by it.
Our primary typography (Inter, Inter Tight, Source Serif 4, JetBrains Mono) is self-hosted — no request is made to any third-party font CDN for Latin-script locales.
Your choices
Because we only use strictly necessary storage, the site functions correctly even if you reject optional cookies in our banner. You can clear cookies and localStorage at any time using your browser's privacy settings. If you clear jbu_consent, the cookie banner will appear again on your next visit.
Most browsers also allow you to block cookies altogether. Doing so does not prevent you from reading the site, but it will stop us remembering your language choice.
To stop receiving marketing emails, use the Unsubscribe link in the footer of any email we send. You can also email us at privacy@joinbeus.com to be removed from all communications.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if we add new cookies or technologies — for example, if we later introduce an analytics tool that requires consent. The "Last updated" date below reflects the most recent change.
